WAVE LUX PANEL
The WAVE LUX double-curved acoustic spreaders are designed to improve the acoustic field uniformity of a wide range of applications and rooms. WAVE LUX panels are usually mounted on ceilings, but they can also be mounted on walls. Panels are made of 19 mm thick MDF (1000 x 2000 mm) with a curved profile corresponding to a complete sin function period with a 150 mm offset from the plane at max locations. Surface mass 16 kg / m2
The values of the sound absorption coefficient at the low end of the frequencies and at mid frequencies from 100 Hz to 1000 Hz are in the range of 0.07 to 0.32, which acts both as a diffuser and also performs a sound absorption function. At higher frequencies (1000 Hz burst) panels are less effective than sound absorbers.
The effective operating frequency range of the sound-scattering factor starts at 100 Hz and reaches 0.6 at 500 Hz. At 1000 Hz and 2000 Hz, there is a reduction in the scattering coefficient, which may be in the form of a less effective lenses in the female speech frequency range. However, above 3150 Hz, the value of the scattering coefficient increases rapidly, ensuring efficient operation using electro-acoustic sound amplification in the room.
