History

SIA “BRODOOR” was founded in 1998 to manufacture and sell interior doors in Latvia and other countries. Latvian citizens own 100% of the company’s shares. Since its reorganization in 2008, SIA “BRODOOR” has been a family business.

Over the years, the range and volume of products manufactured, the size of the production facilities, the equipment and machinery used, and the skills of the employees have all grown considerably in both scale and quality.

The company currently owns 3,000 m2 of well-equipped production facilities and adjoining land, computerized and automated woodworking equipment (CNC), a finishing line, and various other modern machines and equipment needed for production. Production capacity has reached a substantial level of up to 5,000 doors per month.

The products manufactured—interior doors—can be used in homes, offices, schools, hotels, and anywhere else two rooms need to be separated. The doors can also be sound-insulating, fire-resistant, and impact-resistant.

The company also began manufacturing acoustic wall and ceiling panels in 2013. These products  have a wide range of applications in spaces with acoustic problems, such as gyms, conference rooms, concert halls, homes and workplaces, recording studios, and more. Using the panels in a room creates pleasant, clear sound.

Compliance of the products and production facility with regulatory requirements is confirmed by:

• production process control certificate

• ISO 9001-2015 quality management system certificate

• fire classification certificate
• test reports on repeated opening and closing, impact strength, and surface impact strength

• sound insulation laboratory test reports

• fire resistance test reports

The products are available in virtually all building materials stores in the Baltics, as well as at the company’s sales office and warehouse at 1a Sitas Street in Riga, where custom door solutions can also be ordered. Company employees can also measure, deliver, and install doors on site.
